Power Rangers Custom Mighty Muggs

by Ralph on September 23, 2008

There have been a few Power Rangers that have shown up by different customizers so far, but as far as I know this is the first time the full set has been available. While I'm not a fan of the series, I can actually remember watching the very first episode a long time ago and being extremely excited. Hopefully the winner of this auction will get a similar rush.

I'm not overly familiar with the character, but I have no doubt this is a well done, good looking Mugg.

Star Trek Data Mugg

"Baby needs a new pair of shoes" - Data

I say baby needs a new Mugg. I may not be a Trekkie, but I have watched my share of TNG. This one looks a little "rough" in terms of painting, and I think the face could look more like Data. Still a good job though and a great idea.

custom captian kirk star trek mighty mugg 225x300I feel like I should say something funny about a Kirk Mugg. I'm drawing a blank though. Just pretend that this post is in a horrible Kirk accent.

Custom Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Mighty Muggs

by Ralph on August 24, 2008

From the same modder as the Freddy Kreguer Mugg comes this set of Ninja Turtle customs. He currently has Krang, Raphael and Shredder available in three different auctions. He's also previously sold a custom Leonardo for $140.00. The starting prices for all three are a little pricey in my opinion ($100.00+), but I can definitely see them selling if the right collector comes along.

They are are very well done and I'm especially digging the Krang figure. We're starting to see a lot of mods using only parts of the Muggs, and using them in very different and unique ways. This one definitely shows what is possible with some imagination and a bit of ingenuity.
